On this coming Wed., Feb. 1st, 2012 at 6:30pm, "HONEY BOY" (a story by the late/ great world-renowned storyteller Jackie Torrence) will be presented at Martin St. Bapt. Church (1001 E. Martin St., Raleigh, NC), for Black History Month. "Honey Boy" is an oral "short-story-made-into-film" by Teri A. Burnette (Shaw Univ. Film Professor), which stars storyteller/artist Joyce Grear and Bennie Baker, and also includes several NCABS members in the film. Joyce, Bennie and Teri will be on hand for discussion and questions after the film.
