Tryon Palace presents playwright Ella Joyce (E.J.) Stewart’s holiday delight, Christmas in a Shoebox, on Sunday, December 11, as part of its Music, Mirth and Merriment traditional holiday celebration. Curtain time in the North Carolina History Center ’s Cullman Performance Hall is 3 p.m., with warm cider and cookies served beginning at 2:30 p.m.
